Pegasus Trophy, Sunday, September 13

Pegasus Trophy, Sunday, September 13

On Sunday, September 13, the cruiser fleet raced for one of the club’s oldest cups – the Pegasus Trophy. The mythological winged horse was chosen as the club’s emblem when it was founded in 1958.
This year’s winners of the trophy were the Cutting family – Andrew Cutting helmed their Hunter Ranger crewed by his wife Barbara and father Derek. The Cuttings were first back after two laps of a course between Howtown and Eusmere, and were first on corrected time. Chris Taylor was second in an Etap 21 and Parry Coates was third in a Ruffian.
