Looking for somewhere to sail in the Lake District?  Look no further than Ullswater, one of the most stunning lakes in the UK. We are located at the northern part of this seven-mile lake and, being only 10 minutes from the M6, we are the most accessible. Whether it's an introduction to sailing, RYA training, or competitive racing you're after, we have it all. And if you are a member of UYC you can camp for free in the club grounds.

New Building Project Update - POSTPONED

Unfortunately Peter Lewis has had to postpone the new building presentation for family reasons. The webinar should still take place on July 26. A new presentation date will be announced soon. Please tell everyone. (21.7.27)
I wish to invite all members to a presentation on 22
nd July at 6.30pm in the club house. The presentation will update you on the current status of the project. 
This is not an EGM or decision making meeting but an opportunity to share what has been achieved and what is still to do to reach the next key stage of filing a planning application. There will also be a webinar presentation on 26th July at 7pm. The webinar will be recorded and available at any time after the broadcast time. This is the link:

Rooster 2000 Inlands/ UYC Fleet Weekend, May 27 & 28, 2017

Ullswater Yacht Club welcomed the 2000 Class for their Inland Championships over the weekend of May 27 and 28. A total of 14 boats, with visitors from all over the country, took part in the event which was sponsored by Rooster Sailing and North Lakes Foods.
